Any previous sailing experience an advantage but not essential.
The basics are rather quick to learn and as you master them you can start developing your skills.
Initially we recommend you join us and do some simple boat handling exercise and then follow other boats adjusting your sails accordingly to keep up with them and then look at the basic of racing (if you want)
IOM boat and equipment do fit rather easily into most cars and so they are easy to bring with you to the various sailing locations.
