No racing today, instead we decided to take this opportunity as a training session.

28th February

John & Oscar came up from Cork to join us in Howth. We had 6 boats with light to medium wind conditions so it was top rig for all. However these minor wind changes and more significant wind shifts made for interesting racing indeed. 4 of the 6 skippers winning at least one race. No one dominated the series and results were quite varied from race to race expect for John who’s consistency paid out at the end, finishing in 2nd Place, only beaten by Jeff who managed to win 5 races but who still had to carry a 5th. Nonetheless it was tight all day and I am safe in saying that all had a good time racing despite the touch of cold air.
